Among the many talented players, Miss American R’Bonney Gabriel was announced as Miss Global in 2023 on Saturday, New Orleans, Louisiana.
Gabriel was the first Filipino American to receive the iconic title in more than a decade, and the first Philippine American to be titled by Miss America and Miss Global at the same time. The beauty pageant comes from Houston, Texas, and is the Philippine father Remigio Bonzon “R. Bon” Gabriel and American mother Dana Walker.

Gabriel is the boss of the family, with three younger brothers. She has a very close relationship with her family, and even let her father be a model for her clothing brand R’Bonney Nola.
Gabriel focused on fashion at the University of North Germany and trimmed fiber. Before continuing to launch her own environmentally friendly clothing series, she also interned for Nicole Miller. This expression refers to her father’s encouragement to climb the stars, and she is proud of her job in her hometown of Houston to send the first woman to the moon.
On the night of Miss Global, Gabriel wore a gorgeous dazzling black blue dress designed by the Philippine designer Rian Fernandez, showing the pride of PINAY.
In an interview after her victory, Garrier enthusiastically declared that she was proud of her multicultural background. She said, “Support is everything. I feel in my heart. I heard it in the room. In 2023, the Miss Global Beauty P inspiring contest celebrates international beauty and a series of humanitarian causes of participants. It was held on January 14 at the ERNEST N. MORIAL Conference Center of New Orleans. The event called for participants from at least 80 countries/regions to compete for this year’s laurel: diamonds and sapphire works created by Mouawad Jewelry called “Force for Good”. Harnaaz Sandhu, a Miss Universe in 2022, will award the championship in the 2023 championship.
